Common Use For Activella
1- For the treatment of ATROPHY OF VULVA 2- For the treatment of MENOPAUSE 3- For the prevention of OSTEOPOROSIS

How To Use Activella
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor * This medicine can be taken with or without food, REGARDLESS of meal times. If stomach upset occurs, take with food. * Patient should read specific PATIENT INFORMATION provided with this medicine before starting treatment and each time their prescription is renewed. * Pretreatment and periodic physical exams should include breast, pelvic organs and Pap smear. You should keep doctors and laboratory appointments.

What To Do If You Miss An Activella Dose
Take when remembered unless time for next dose. No double doses.

How To Store Activella
Keep in original closed container in a dark, cool, and dry place away from children. Discard unneeded medicine.

Call Your Doctor Immediately If You Experience
Yellowing of eyes or skin; Abdominal discomfort or pain; Depression; Vaginal bleeding; Visual disturbances; Vein inflamation with clot formation; Clotting within a blood vessel.

Activella Side Effects
Inflammation of the sinuses; Respiratory infection; Breast pain; Headache; Weight gain; Back pain; Itching; Acne; Skin inflammation; Abnormal hair growth; Nausea; Swelling of feet or lower legs; Weight loss; Fluid retention; Menstrual irrigularities; Sleepiness; Skin rash; Insomnia; Leaking of milk-like fluid; Vomiting; Vaginal fungal infections; Inflammation of the pancreas; Migraine; Gallbladder disease; Gas; Dizziness; Indigestion; Difficult and painful menstruation; Diarrhea; Bloating; Anxiety; Baldness; High blood pressure; High blood sugar level; High triglycerides level; High calcium level.

Activella Precautions And Warnings

CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY IF PREGNANT or intend to become pregnant. * Notify physician of signs of BLOOD CLOT (pain in the groin or calves, chest pain, shortness of breath, severe headache, dizziness, vision disturbance) * Because of INTERACTION with other drugs, report the use of any other prescription and nonprescription medicines to your doctor. * The results of some MEDICAL or LAB tests may be affected by this medicine. Inform the doctor in charge that you are taking this medicine.

Nutritional Supplements For Depletion
This medication may cause some nutrients to be depleted from your body. These nutrients are: MAGNESIUM ORAL; VITAMIN B6 ORAL (PYRIDOXINE); ZINC SALTS; FOLATES.
